Grovetown Fire Rescue, in its continued efforts to serve the residents of Grovetown, is involved in several community outreach programs. These programs educate and assist age groups from young children to senior citizens in fire prevention and safety topics.
Programs for Children
Station Tours: A guided tour of all station areas and equipment with a firefighter. Children will be shown all equipment on them and will also be allowed to get into a fire truck for a hands-on experience.
Request the Fire Safety House for Your Event: This program is designed for children in grades 1-4. The Fire Safety House teaches children about fire safety in the home. Children will learn how to react in a non-toxic smoke while inside the house in order to be prepared for a fire in their own homes (minimum group size is 20 students).
