Advanced Disposal provides integrated, non-hazardous solid waste collection, recycling and disposal services to residential, commercial, industrial and construction customers across 17 states and the Bahamas.  All items must be bagged.  The city provides a weekly curbside pick-up of large or bulky household items which will not fit inside the regular roll-out carts.  The city does not pick-up used tires, liquids or hazardous materials.  If you are not sure what can or cannot be put out for pickup, please call the office first at 706-860-5138.

Bulk Waste & Yard Waste Debris Collection

The City of Grovetown has adopted new guidelines and procedures for bulk waste and yard debris collection, starting October 2, 2017 these changes will apply.  To see a copy of these changes, click here.

Curbside Leaf & Limb Collection

The city offers a curbside leaf and limb collection service to its residents as an environmentally-conscious means for disposing of yard waste. The city collects yard waste in the form of grass, leaves and brush.  Rough trash must be separated, cannot weigh more than 50lbs and limbs must be 4' or shorter.  The city will not pick-up limbs or other materials that seem to be brought in from another location or contractors debris.

The city is committed to recycling, waste reduction, pollution prevention and preservation of natural resources. The city's recycling initiative actively promotes and provides curbside pickup, however you must provide your own recycling container and place it on the curb for weekly pick-up on Wednesday.

The city will only pick-up newspaper, cardboard and aluminum cans for recycling.  We encourage you to recycle your bulky items through charitable organizations and thrift stores.
