City of Grovetown Hurricane Irma Recovery Update

 The City of Grovetown has crews responding to downed trees, power lines, property damage, and storm clean up as their first priority this week. When all storm-related clean-up is complete we will return to our normal inert and rough trash pick-up schedule. We ask that you please remain patient as we work to address the effects of Hurricane Irma. Please keep storm-related trees, branches, debris and trash separated from day to day inert and rough trash. 

If there are other areas of the City without power, if roads are blocked by downed trees or other debris, or if there is no phone or cable service, please contact the Grovetown Department of Public Safety Dispatch at 706-863-1212 or City Hall, 706-863-4576, and choose the option for Planning and Development to report the problem.


New Wastewater Treatment Plant Construction Fee:

The new wastewater treatment plant construction fee will be used to pay for the construction of a new wastewater treatment plant in the City of Grovetown.  The fee will be added to all wastewater (sewer service) customers beginning in June 2017.  Additional information can be found HERE.  This information will also be mailed with all utility bills before beginning in June.
