Mr. Blair was born in Hughesville, Pennsylvania in 1967. He started his military career in December 1984 as an enlisted Infantryman, reaching the rank of Sergeant. He was then commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the Armor Corps following graduation as a Distinguished Military Graduate from Slippery Rock University in 1988; he served until August 2008 when he retired as a Major. Mr. Blair currently works at the Fort Gordon Cyber Battle Lab as a Cyber Security Engineer. He is married to the former Catherine VerHoven of Buffalo, New York; they have two daughters, Katherine and Erika, and one son, Maxwell. They also have a dog, Callie Rae. Eric’s hobbies include hunting, swimming, and spending time outdoors with his family.
