Mr. Blair was born in Hughesville, PA in 1967.   

He started his military career in December 1984, as an enlisted Infantryman, reaching the rank of Sergeant. He was then commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the Armor Corps following graduation as a Distinguished Military Graduate from Slippery Rock University in 1988.  He served until August 2008 when he retired as a Major.  He currently works at the Fort Gordon Cyber Battle Lab as a Network Engineer.   

He is a member of Fellowship Baptist Church where he serves as a Deacon. 

He is married to the former Catherine VerHoven of Buffalo, New York; they have two daughters, Katherine (26 years old) and Erika (22 years old), and one son, Maxwell (6 years old); they also have two furry canines Eclipse and Rusty.   

Eric’s hobbies are hunting, swimming, and spending time outdoors with the family.
