Garbage Collection

Residential garbage collection is provided to the residents of the City of Grovetown through a contract with Advanced Disposal. Advanced Disposal provides integrated, non-hazardous solid waste collection and disposal services to residential, commercial, industrial and construction customers across 17 states and the Bahamas.  All items must be bagged.  The city provides a biweekly curbside pick-up of large or bulky household items which will not fit inside the regular roll-out carts.  The city does not pick-up used tires, liquids or hazardous materials.  If you are not sure what can or cannot be put out for pickup, please call the office first at 706-863-4576, option 1.   

Bulk Waste & Yard Waste Debris Collection


The City of Grovetown has adopted new guidelines and procedures for bulk waste and yard debris collection, starting January 1, 2019 these changes will apply.  See the map below to determine if you are in the Blue or Red area of the City.  A copy of the guidelines and pickup schedule can be found under the Garbage Collection Documents section located on the righthand side of this page.
