1. How do I know if I need a license?

If you live in the City of Grovetown and are engaging in business within the city limits, or if your business is located outside the Grovetown city limits and you are engaging in business within the city limits of Grovetown, you will need to complete a city occupational license application and submit it to the City Clerk's Office at 103 Old Wrightsboro Road.

2. What does an occupational license cover?

You are advised against investing in equipment or maintaining inventory at your proposed business location until it is determined that your business is a legal use for the property, and that any structure housing the proposed business complies with all applicable codes.

1. What is the service fee?

Government Window charges a service fee to cover payment handling and all processing charges. Service fee will be calculated and disclosed prior to finishing payment.

1. How do I contact Probation Services?

Probation is a court-ordered sanction that allows a person to remain in the community under the supervision of a probation officer. The conditions of this community-based supervision can vary. It could include jail time, fines, restitution, community service, or other sanctions. Probation can also require a predetermined number of visits with a probation officer. If a person does not follow the rules of their probation, they could be required to go back before a judge and be sent to jail. Probation Officers are responsible for managing a large case load of adult probationers, and monitoring the status of probationers' compliance with court-ordered terms and conditions.

2. What are the acceptable forms of probation payment?

The following forms of payment are accepted:
- Cash
- Money Order
- Credit/Debit Cards
- Cashier Checks
- No two-party, business, or personal checks will be accepted

3. Can I make my probation payments online?

Yes. You can visit www.csraprobation.net, and click the "make a payment" option at the top of the page. This will redirect you to a third-party service that processes your online payment.

4. When does my probation start?

Probation starts on your court date, after your case has been adjudicated.

5. Can I make my payment at any City Office?

No; probation payments must be made at the Probation Office (113 East Robinson Avenue), unless other arrangement have been made.

6. Can I mail in my payment?

7. If I pay my fine in full, will my probation be terminated?

Your probation could be terminated, if all conditions of probation are met and the judge indicated on your court order that you may terminate probation as provided by law.

No; probationers are seen Mondays from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., unless closed for a holiday.

No; the identity of offenders and offender records are confidential in accordance with Rules and Regulations of the County and Municipal Probation Advisory Council.
